A Wedding Toast

To Jon and Heidi:
Your wedding was beautiful.
May God bless you both.

And Can It Be?

God's amazing love.
Per Wesley's And Can It Be?
Christ dying for me.

The Joshua Tree

U2's on tonight.
The Joshua Tree plays on.
Good background music.

Venus in August

I'm stuck on Venus.
Scanning the southwestern sky.
Awe and habit merged.

The Gift of Prayer

The gift of prayer.
Speaking with the Almighty!
I dare not waste it.

Ethics or Embarrassment

Too much change returned.
The clerk just can't get it right.
Should I just keep it?

Thought for Today - August 11

Striving for balance.
God. Family. Work. Leisure.
More than just percents.
