Morning has broken.
Like the very first morning.
Praise with elation!

With thanks to Eleanor Farjeon

God's great love forgives.
His compassions never fail.
They are new each day.

The cold snap is here.
Temps below zero tonight.
Be careful out there.

A touch of light snow.
Enough to enhance our dreams.
It's a white Christmas!!!

Some reflection time.
And some good family time.
How was your Christmas?

Nearly four inches.
With temps falling from the teens.
That's more like winter.

Cats calling for food.
But I've stepped out for sunrise.
Wait a minute guys!!!
