I had an incredibly powerful spiritual reaction when I saw this painting

at the Indianapolis Museum of Art during the Sacred Spain Exhibit. The Christ

Child is close to the edge of a balcony AND is reaching for unknown fruit.  

Joseph's earthly charge and care for the young Jesus is incredible. Seventeen syllables cannot do this painting or this relationship true justice.
