Sebastián Martínez Domedel - Sacred Spain Exhibit

 Joseph and Jesus.

The King of the Universe

Protected by Dad.

I had an incredibly powerful spiritual reaction when I saw this painting

at the Indianapolis Museum of Art during the Sacred Spain Exhibit. The Christ

Child is close to the edge of a balcony AND is reaching for unknown fruit.

Joseph's earthly charge and care for the young Jesus is incredible. Seventeen syllables cannot do this painting or this relationship true justice.

Thanks to the Museo del Prado for their detailed post at:

Scarlet Begonias

 Tucked into her curls.
She wore scarlet begonias.

I knew right away.

Greenville City Park

The urban parkscape.
Complete with water features.

Sounds and nature mesh.

I Raise A Hallelujah

Up from the ashes.

I raise a hallelujah.

The King is alive!

What a Powerful Name

The Name of Jesus.

Yours is the Kingdom, O Lord.

Yours is the Glory.

The Summer Stroll

 Walking in the shade.

The tree canopy effect.

Along the Greenway.

The Mississinewa River in Indiana

Outside Jonesboro.

The river ambles northward.

On towards the Wabash.
